Vacation
The inhabitants of the Villa swarmed out over Europe.
Kate and The Rat walked two weeks in the Lechtal in Austria. Apart from the lovely mountains the discovered one of the longest Austrian words, pure poetry! And they enjoyed the wonderful Kaiserschmarren in a chalet.
Dark Horse went to Stuttgart, in search of other black horses: this city has the black horse in its coat of arms.

The horses of the city were rather modest, but Dark Horse really lost her heart to these ‘Mischwesen’.
I visited my home town, Glasgow, and spent many an hour in my favorite bar: The Counting House, where I inspected the local beers.
Ms M. explored the Inner Hebrides in Schotland and had a nice walk to the An Sgurr on Eigg. Also her wish to visit the Island of Staffa with Fingal's Cave came true.A selection of Ms M.’s holiday photographs is on view Outside.
At last Dormouse payed a visit to his cousin in London: the Siberian Mouse. This remarkable creature is made of pure gold, has a white enamel coat of fur, covered with pearls and its red eyes are made of rubies. The Siberian Mouse is 12,5 cm long, tail included. It was born in 1805 and lives in auction houses and art collections, where it feeds on gilded frames. Dormouse thought it is the most beautiful mouse he ever saw and asked him if he would like to stay in the Villa’s Art Collection for a while. There he can be admired by everyone.
Have fun in the Villa!
