Villa Dark Horse - From darkness to light

Art Route Voordorps Imagination, Sunday, November 17

During the Art Route Voordorps Imagination Villa Dark Horse will perform her theatre show 'From darkness to light': songs and poems about loss, times past and going on.

Shows of c. 15 minutes at 13.00, 14.00, 15.00 and 16.00 hours in the Garden House of Het Groene Dak (The Green Roof). Directions: from Utrecht Central Station, bus 7 to Voordorp.

Performance Open Podium Minitheater Helling X, Amsterdam

On September 28 for the third time Villa Dark Horse was a guest at Helling X, the workshop of sculptor Hanneke de Munck. The show was part of an inspiring Open Podium with poets, singers and (classical) musicians. Did you miss the Villa? Go to: Voordorps Verbeelding!

CD-recordings Werkgroep Eigen Werk

Werkgroep Eigen Werk (band Own Work), with its 'base camp' at Society Artishock in Soest is recording a CD. In several sessions professional recordings were made of, of course, the Own Work. Ms. M. plays the bass recorder as usual and sings in the background. We will keep you informed about the progress!

In the mean time in the Villa...

As you might have noticed, this year there is less activity in the Villa. The reason for that is, that Ms. M. is very busy with an international research project which she initiated with a Belgian colleague, and which is subsidized since the end of last year. If you want to know what she is up to, go to Marks on Art. Nevertheless new poems, songs and photos were made, which in time will find their way to the Villa. One you can already find in the Room of Life: Little Wren.
