Villa Dark Horse - Corona-free zone

Dear readers!

Also in Villa Dark Horse we cannot escape the corona-sorrows. But thanks to our strict measures the Villa still is a corona-free zone. Even our detectives Rufus Slimey and Koko Co wear there mouthmasks and keep their obligatory 1,5 cm distance!

Although...hey! We just received a message that Slimey & Co. discovered a small corona outbreak in the Room of Grief! Head over snails they are heading over there to ward off this evil!

Yes, even your own editor Seamus did adapt to the new situation with a custom designed mouth mask, especially designed for cigar smokers. You can order it at info@villadarkhorse.com.

And although no one seems to know the right way out of this crisis...

The Villa holds a steady course to stop the virus... and took some extrordinary measures...

Outside is transferred to the prehistory, a time when the virus simply did not exist yet...

The courageous Saint Margaret is placed in front of the door of the Art Collection, because she was even able to escape from the belly of a fierce dragon...

The Bathroom is transferred to the fifties...

As is the Living Room, which is transformed to a canteen.

The S table is enlarged to make room for uninfected horses coming from corona areas... (and Dark Horse only exercises safely in the open air, without spectators...)

The same goes for the Orchard where the amount of nesting boxes has considerably increased...

The Room of Love is refreshed with a relief form Hanneke de Munck, sculptor...

and just to be absolutely safe the pump in the back yard is replaced...

Ms M. and Kate cheer up!

Although the Villa is an (almost) corona-free zone, it did not escape from the photography and cooking viruses which held and hold many people in an iron grip. But no worries! Kate threw herself into cooking fruity summer dishes in her hermetically sealed Kitchen. Ms M. portrayed the abundant flowers of spring and placed three colourful photo series in the Villa: Close ups at the Veranda (3,5 mins.), Flowers at the Pond (6,5 mins.) and for those who wish to become completely Zen: Landscapes in the Meditation Room (5,5 mins.).).
