As the world seems to become an increasingly inextricable tangle, Dark Horse withdrew to the island of Schiermonnikoog. You can find her reflections here, in the Chamber of Life.

New in the Villa
In light of the tense situation in the world, the outer ring around the Villa is guarded by a dragon! The Art Cabinet is guarded by four angels by glass artist Lalique (1860-1945). The Living Room was imported from the 19th-century home of French writer Victor Hugo (1802-1885) on Guernsey, and the Kitchen and new Letterbox also originate from that island.

Autumn has truly arrived at the Villa. Autumn leaves have fallen in the Sunroom, mushrooms have grown in the Vegetable Garden, the Orchard and on the Backyard. In the Pond, a shoveler forages in its beautiful new plumage.

Nejburs

The collaboration between the Villa and Marco The Fenderman, who form the singer-songwriter duo Nejburs, continues to bear fruit. There are already 70 videos on their YouTube channel!

Hop on the train of life with Ticket to Ride, walk alongside a lonely woman in She Cries at Night, and learn why Fenderman never stops playing guitar in If You Don't Use It. You'll hear special confessions in the Villa's immortal song Boobs and Fenderman's response: New Times Are Coming.

If you want to hear Nejburs live, they will be performing next year at Gluren bij de Buren in Utrecht on 1 February and in Bilthoven on 15 March.
